MapOptix

CityMap™ is a "database-driven" desktop product for querying and viewing GIS, tabular, and raster data from disparate sources in an integrated "dashboard-style" interface. Data sources, queries, map display properties, and user access can be configured without programming. Because of its flexibility and versatility, CityMap™ can be used as an Enterprise GIS application or to map-enable traditional database systems such as permitting, asset management and crime incidents. It also can be bundled with data products that are marketed to external customers.

CityMap™ is full-featured, yet simpler and less expensive than an all-purpose desktop GIS product such as ArcView™. At the same time, it delivers more functionality and faster performance than web-based alternatives, and does not require special server hardware or server administration expertise.

CityMap™ comes in two versions - Standard and Professional. Standard provides core functionality such as tabular and GIS querying/viewing, geocoding, mark up and printing maps. Professional includes all the capabilities of Standard, plus reporting, querying/viewing of documents associated with GIS features, a mailing label wizard, and a tool for creating "electronic sticky notes" and associating them with map locations. The Professional version also provides administration utilities for managing data maintenance and permissions. CityMap™ is a Windows™ application that can run in a networked client-server environment or standalone and is available in a ArcGIS Engine or MapObjects edition.
