<p>Portland, OR &ndash; GeoNorth is proud to announce the implementation of custom property assessment tool for the City of Airdrie, Alberta.&nbsp;</p> <p>Users of the City&rsquo;s interactive mapping application can now access property assessment information through an intuitive interface based on a search box and candidate list.&nbsp; Once a property is chosen, the tool performs a series of operations to return a simple report. &nbsp;</p> <p>The unique nature of the data required some creative programming to return the information in a simple format.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Because the property information is based on dynamic data from multiple sources, it has to be processed based on the current date and compiled into an aggregated data set.&nbsp; A number of operations were developed involving a coded property variation table, resulting in the simple report users ultimately see.</p> <p>A key feature of this tool is its integration with City&rsquo;s interactive mapping interface, also designed by GeoNorth.&nbsp; A link from the report takes the user to the map, allowing the user to see surrounding properties and features.
