Anchorage, Alaska - GeoNorth, LLC, a custom Information Technology solutions provider headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, is proudly celebrating its 15th year of business. Established in mid-1994, GeoNorth, with a second office location in Portland, Oregon, specializes in state-of-the-art IT solutions for GIS (Geographic Information Systems), desktop to enterprise Web Design and Development, and Database Management applications, servicing clients throughout Alaska, the Lower 48, and abroad.

“GeoNorth is pleased to have built a sound business based on client satisfaction over the years”, states Brian Minster, the company’s President. “Our intensive pursuit of total customer satisfaction has given us a national and international reputation all of our employees can be proud of. With the current strain on the economy, GeoNorth can say we’ve never had to lay off an employee, and our future vision lends us the anticipation that our position within the industry will only grow stronger in the coming years. But one of the things I think our staff takes the most pride in is the fact that GeoNorth ultimately builds relationships with independence in mind. We don’t want our clients to be totally dependent on us. That’s why we stress knowledge transfer, and the importance of training our clients in the proper use of technology. We feel this is the best way to provide true value to our clients, and it typically pays off. For our clients, for our employees, for the community, and for GeoNorth. It’s all about the relationships we’ve built over the years, and those we look forward to building as we continue to grow”.

GeoNorth’s technically competent staff of project managers, programmers, software architects, analysts, and technicians combine for hundreds of years of industry experience. Continuous training and development is part of their commitment to their clients, and has recently earned GeoNorth employees many industry milestones and certifications.

In celebration of their 15th Anniversary, GeoNorth has entirely reworked their web site presence. The site, ready for public viewing, is located at www.geonorth.com.
