Portland, OR – GeoNorth is proud to announce the implementation of an interactive web mapping application for the City of Pearland, Texas including built-in configuration for City administrator use. Using the Flex API for ArcGIS Server, the City collaborated with GeoNorth to develop this unique application which provides powerful functionality, and allows for easy configuration by City staff through a simple .xml configuration file.
This new intuitive, lightweight web application serves as a public facing companion to the City’s more robust, internal enterprise solution built on GeoNorth’s trademark MapOptix framework. With these two applications, the City now has a comprehensive suite of tools to serve the needs of both public users and internal departmental staff.
