The Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program was created to help small, disadvantaged businesses compete in the American marketplace.  The program was named after section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, created in 1953.

GeoNorth recieved 8(a) certification on October 25th, 2011 and is now eligible to bid on federal projects that have been set aside for 8(a) recipients.  GeoNorth is an IT solutions provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tatitlek Corporation, an Alaska Native corporation located in Anchorage, Alaska.  We have been building our successful track record of providing services to clients since 1994.
